Upcoming Prospects
Dilly
Dilly, affectionately known as Pickles, joined our program from Trek Goldens and was carefully selected for her combination of service dog temperament, confidence, and conformation potential. She comes from an outstanding pedigree and has grown into an incredibly fun, versatile young Golden. Our “spicy pickle” absolutely loves to work. Dilly is highly food motivated, confident, eager to learn, and happiest when she has a job to do. She is actively training in Rally and obedience, has earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, and continues her conformation training as she matures. Dilly recently earned 2nd place in Novice A in a class of 6 other dogs 9/2026. Outside of dog sports, Dilly is also a working service dog, demonstrating excellent public-access skills while performing trained tasks for her handler. Her ability to transition from working in public to training for the performance ring is one of the things we love most about her. As Dilly continues to mature, our focus is on developing her performance and conformation career while allowing her plenty of time to grow before completing her health clearances. We’re incredibly excited to see what the future holds for our little Pickle.

Hopper
This handsome boy was selected and placed with us as our future stud dog prospect; pending he passes all OFA health clearances. Hopper entered his first show in Greensboro NC, 8/2026 and won Second Place in his class. He will be shown with a professional handler when he is more physically mature, and we have goals to get him into obedience trials. We are also considering trying some hunt titles. Hopper's name was picked in relation to Stranger Things; although he sure loves to hop around. Hopper is actively working on obedience and is taking Barn Hunt lessons. He will be trying UKC Conformation Shows in October 2026. He is so incredibly versatile. Hopper is an excellent addition to our family and a wonderful representation of the breed. We are so excited for his future here at Glimmer Goldens.

Glimmer
Glimmer is the puppy we’ve dreamed of producing. As our first homebred keeper, she holds a special place in our hearts and represents years of planning, learning, and dedication to preservation breeding. Out of our beloved Lady and GCH CH Emerson’s Swift Traveler FTN “Gully,” Glimmer combines health, structure, and temperament that align with our goals for the breed. She is currently growing up with early obedience & socialization, and will hopefully begin her journey in obedience and performance events, and will complete all recommended health testing before being considered for our breeding program. She recently earned her CGC title at 4 month old and earned BOS in BPUP both shows. We couldn’t be more excited to watch her develop and carry our program into the future.
